Personal Information:
I was born and raised in Winchester, VA. My five year old son and I moved to Grand Junction in 2005. I enjoy traveling and outdoor activities such as hiking and camping.
Prior to joining CSU Extension, I was working in the food management industry. My work has taken me to some beautiful locations such as, Jackson Hole, WY and Switzerland.
Program Description:
The Food Stamp Nutrition Education Program (FSNEP) is funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture through the Department of Human Services, Food Stamp Program and administered through Cooperative Extension. The primary focus of FSNEP is to address the problem of food security in its broad sense, among limited resource Coloradoans. The Colorado FSNEP Program is committed to providing this audience with nutrition, food safety and food resource management education aimed at promoting food security and overall health.
Program Responsibility:
To provide Mesa County food stamp participants and those eligible for these services the tools and information to help them adopt healthy eating and physical behavior activities.
