Avian Influenza:
You have probably heard a lot about Avian Influenza - it is very real and very contagious amongst birds. Avian Influenza is a disease of birds and can transmit to humans - usually to pass to humans, it does require close contact with infected birds. Please scroll down on this page and read more on Avian Influenza. If you have birds that die suddenly and need help or have questions -- there is a Colorado Help Line that you can call (see below).
New Animal Care & Housing Form for 2007-2008:
All livestock & horse projects will be required
to have on file in the Extension Office this new Animal Care &
Housing Form to enroll in a livestock/horse project. It is similar
to the Primary Care Form that was required for livestock in 2006-2007.
