Traditional Clubs

  • The traditional club program is the longest running and most recognized part of 4-H.
  • Youth, ages 5-18, enroll in local clubs to learn leadership, citizenship, and life skills.
  • 4-H club members must enroll in a project, participate in community service, give a demonstration, and take part in a judging activity each year.

School Enrichment

  • With unique projects such as hatching chicks in embryology, growing plants with mini-greenhouses, or watching caterpillars emerge as butterflies, 4-H school enrichment provides teachers with exciting, hands-on curriculum to meet educational standards.

Summer Outreach

  • Although the places have changed, 4-H has had a presence at summer camps in Boulder County since 1994. This year 4-H is working with day camps for the Boulder Valley YMCA, East Boulder Cummunity Center, Growing Gardens, Cultiva!, Casa de la Esperanza, and the Boulder Valley School District.
  • Campers learn practical science from different hands-on experiments and activities each week.

School Aged Child Care

  • Since Fall 2004, 4-H is partnering with the Boulder Valley School District to offer a great combination of traditional projects and activities designed just for after-school programs!
