In
Cooperation with Colorado State Forest Service Nursery

Jefferson County 4-H now accepting orders for seedling trees
Small acreage owners qualify for low-cost seedling trees
grown by the Colorado State Forest Service and distributed by Jefferson County
4-H. Ordering deadline is March 23, 2012.
More than 40 varieties of trees and shrubs are available. The
seedlings are to be used for conservation plantings, such as reforestation,
species diversification, wind and snow barriers, and wildlife habitats. They
cannot be used for landscaping. The landowner must have at least two acres on
which to plant the trees.
The trees will be available for pickup at the Jefferson
County Fairgrounds, W. Sixth Avenue and Indiana Street April 12-14, 2012.
