Colorado State University Extension extends research based
information about crop insects, diseases, weeds, and vertebrate pests,
field & pasture crop production, cropping systems, and management
of native range and natural areas for citizens of northeast Colorado.
Ag Agent's Program Emphases:
- Wheat-based rotational dryland cropping systems
- No-till and reduced till for increasing precipitation capture and retention
- Precision/site-specific farming
- Limited irrigation cropping
- Alfalfa and grass hay production and marketing
- Irrigated pastures for grazing livestock
- Native plant identification
- Livestock poisoning troubleshooting
- Crop injury troubleshooting
- Integrated/Biointensive Pest Management (insect, disease, weed,
vertebrates)
- County wide Weed Management program
